Aston Villa Consider January Loan Move For Real Madrid Forward Endrick

Aston Villa are weighing a January loan approach for Real Madrid forward Endrick, with Football Insider sources indicating the Spanish club could allow the 20-year-old to leave temporarily when the mid-season window opens.
Endrick is on Unai Emery’s radar as Villa look to strengthen their attacking options. Although Jose Mourinho had planned to keep the Brazil international at Real Madrid this season, he has played only four minutes across all competitions, raising concerns about his lack of game time.
Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast reported that Villa could try to take Endrick from Madrid as they seek more firepower up front. Villa signed Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea late in the window, but Emery is still keen to add depth and quality to his squad.
Endrick has drawn long-term interest from Premier League clubs, and Villa are now firmly in the race as Real Madrid assess his future. Former Aston Villa scout Mick Brown told Football Insider in August that the club had explored a loan move for the current season. They ultimately missed out, and after cashing in on Ollie Watkins, concerns over a lack of depth have grown. That interest could be revived in January.
Much will depend on Real Madrid’s decision, but Villa are among the front-runners and could move to beat their rivals to a deal. Football Insider said on its podcast that if Endrick becomes available in January, a number of clubs will be interested.
He has struggled for minutes under Mourinho, with only a brief substitute appearance, and is well down the pecking order. Real allowed him to go on loan last year, when he impressed at Lyon, and may be open to a similar arrangement. If he is made available, a wide race for his signature is expected.
Villa are turning their attention to an ambitious move for Endrick. Sources have also indicated Tottenham have been given a green light to agree a deal for him.
Real Madrid have been considering Endrick’s future since the summer, when Mourinho blocked an exit so he could play a first-team role. An injury disrupted the start of his season, and he has made little impact under the new manager, potentially prompting him to seek more playing time elsewhere.
Football Insider revealed on 9 October that Real Madrid are preparing to let Endrick leave on loan in January as they look to repeat last season’s pathway.
The Brazil international completed a short-term move to Lyon last year, where he performed well, and could now switch to a Premier League club. Alongside Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United have shown interest, and could force a hotly contested race to reach an agreement.
