North Central APC Ready For Mega Tinubu Re-election Rally – Yilwatda

North Central APC stakeholders are set for a “mega rally” in Lafia, Nasarawa State, tomorrow, for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 202.
The rally is being organised by the North Central Grassroots Mobilisation Network and will be hosted by Nasarawa State governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will headline the rally.
This was disclosed in a statement by the APC national chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Wednesday, .
He said the decision followed a meeting of North Central APC stakeholders in Abuja on Wednesday, chaired by Yilwatda.
The meeting was attended by the secretary to the government of the federation (SFG), Senator George Akume, governors and deputy governors from the region, ministers, members of the National Assembly and other political office holders.
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Yilwatda expressed condolences to the families of victims of the recent Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft crash in Ondo State and the mining-related tragedy in Niger State.
He said governors, ministers, legislators and other stakeholders from the North Central unanimously agreed to fully mobilise their structures and supporters for the rally, which he described as the “mother of all rallies.”
He said the objective is to demonstrate the region’s collective commitment to the re-election of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima.
“The meeting reflected a shared determination among participating stakeholders to coordinate their activities and strengthen grassroots engagement in support of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket,” Yilwatda said.
The meeting acknowledged the leadership of Senator Akume in bringing together stakeholders from across the region and commended Governor Sule for hosting the rally.
Stakeholders also welcomed the participation of the First Lady and reviewed arrangements for the participation of party leaders, women, youth groups, grassroots organisations and supporters from across the six North Central states and
the Federal Capital Territory.
“The meeting concluded with a unanimous reaffirmation of the participating stakeholders’ commitment to the successful hosting of the Lafia rally and their support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima in the 2027 general elections,” the statement added.
